Members advocated for FSA coverage for supplements
NPA members asked their representatives to support the reintroduction of the Family and Retirement Health Investment Act of 2013, which should be reintroduced in the next few weeks and would allow reimbursement for dietary supplements from health savings accounts and flexible spending accounts up to a cap of $1,000 per year.
California Rep. Mimi Walters already supports the bill and wants to drop another bill in the next few months that would repeal the cap on FSA spending, Taylor Gilliam, senior legislative assistant for Walters, told NPA members.
