Sharpee becomes NOW’s director of science and nutrition
NOW Foods also announced that Rick Sharpee, PhD, has been promoted to director of science and nutrition. Sharpee has been with NOW Foods since he joined the company as scientific research manager in 2010. Prior to joining NOW Rick spent six years as Enzymatic Therapy’s vice president of product development and manufacturing process development, and four years with Abbott Labs as director of pharmaceutical research and development.
The company also announced that Michael Lelah, PhD, has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Lelah joined NOW as technical director in 2004 and played a significant role in developing NOW’s stellar quality program.
