Greene was previously the VP of investor and government relations at supplement retailer GNC, where “she led the external engagement with investors, analysts and various Congressional offices and industry groups, to change the narrative around topics such as wellness and care,” according to a press release issued by Avon.
Before that, Greene held various executive positions at Herbalife Nutrition for more than 10 years, during which the company grew from a small to mid-cap business, according to the press release.
Avon entered the dietary supplement space in January this year with the launch of 11 products in the new Espira Line. Supplements in the line range from plant protein powder to beauty-from-within to sleep support.
"We are pleased to have an investor relations professional of Amy's calibre join the Avon team," said CFO Jamie Wilson.

Further, Amy has a tremendous understanding of the direct selling industry and consumer products. We look forward to the value she will add in engaging analysts and investors with our plans to achieve sustainable, profitable growth."
