The IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas Digital Summit (November 10-12) will feature two-hour sessions, offering attendees keynote presentations, live panel discussions, presentations from the leading categories leading players, and live Q&A sessions.
The focus of Day 1 is New Horizons for Prebiotics and Probiotics and kicks off with a presentation from Rodolphe Barrangou, PhD, Professor of Prebiotics at North Carolina State University on Implementing the CRISPR craze in probiotics: genome editing for next-generation microbial solutions.
This is followed by a presentation by Ewa Hudson, director of insights for Lumina Intelligence, and then a live discussion with an international panel of experts, including Dr. Jens Walter, APC Microbiome Ireland; Dr Oscar Tirado Acevedo, The Procter & Gamble Company; Dr Daniel Ramon Vidal, ADM , and Dr Justin Green, EpiCor (Cargill Health Technologies). This is followed by a presentation from Dr Green.
The focus of Day 2 is New Interventions for Prebiotics & Probiotics talking points, and opens with a keynote presentation by Dr Gerard Clarke from APC Microbiome Ireland about The Microbiota-Gut-Brain Axis, brain function and behavior: New Therapeutic Opportunities.
This is followed by a live discussion with an international panel of experts, including Dr Margaret Haldeman, Culturelle Probiotics; Dr Jonathan Scheiman, FitBiomics; Dr Mal Evans, KGK Science; and Dr Gregory Leyer, UAS Laboratories. A presentation by Dr Adam Baker from Chr Hansen and UAS’s Dr Leyer follows the panel.
The focus of Day 3 is Opportunities to better communicate the benefits of Probiotics & Prebiotics, and begins with a fireside chat with Ara Katz, Co-CEO of Seed Health.
This is followed by a live discussion with an international panel of experts, including George Paraskevakos, IPA; Dr Gregor Reid, Lawson Health Research Institute; Ivan Wasserman, Amin Talati Wasserman; Dr Diane Alexander, Probi; and Vaughn Dubow, Lonza. This is followed by a presentation by Dr Ralf Jaeger, Increnovo.
The event will also feature a range of exclusive on-demand content, including our Probiota Champions interview series, PLUS an exclusive stand-up set by the Probiotic Comic himself, Ivan Wasserman.
And, the annual Probiota Americas wellness program continues with a virtual run.
