InsideTracker: Nutrition advice based on blood tests of 40 biomarkers
While healthcare practitioners use blood tests to assess if one has normal or abnormal levels, InsideTracker is interested in optimal levels. It launched its testing and analytics kits to consumers in 2013, and as years passed, the company now recommends supplements as well.
Its recommendation-generating algorithm is based on a nutrition database of over 8,000 foods, a demographic database of over 180,000 healthy people, and 2,500 research publications.
Results from InsideTracker are marketed to help users optimize mood, boost energy, improve sleep, reduce pain and injury, raise metabolism, and enhance athletic performance.
