After a record-breaking 2020 Digital Summit, the IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas is back for 2021 with a dynamic extended program, a more immersive platform with new features, and more on-demand content.

The IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas Digital Summit will take place June 15-17 with 10 hours of live content over the three days, featuring keynote presentations and dynamic panel discussions.

Experts from IBM Research, Postbiotics Plus, Yakult Europe, Culturelle, J. Schall Consulting, Duke University School of Medicine, and Lumina Intelligence are just some of the confirmed speakers for North America’s flagship event for the prebiotics, probiotics, and microbiome community.

The event will explore a wide variety of topics, including: The potential of Artificial Intelligence and CRISPR technology for microbiome modulation; establishing a Recommended Daily Intake for microbes; navigating the changing retail landscape; prebiotics, synbiotics and postbiotics; and scientific advances in the skin microbiome, the gut-brain axis, and immune support.

The daily broadcast will be supported by on-demand content, including more exclusive in-depth interviews with some of pioneers and champions of probiotics and prebiotics.

Stephen Daniells, PhD, Editor-in-Chief of NutraIngredients-USA and Editorial Consultant for Probiota Americas, commented: “After an incredibly rewarding and successful 2020 Digital Summit, we’re determined to raise the bar yet again for Probiota Americas 2021. The new platform will offer so much more to attendees, including an enhanced user experience during the live presentations and discussions, curated networking for attendees, and the return of our Scientific Frontiers posters for emerging science.

“This will feel like more than just a Digital event, and is the perfect transition from online to a return to face-to-face with IPA World Congress +Probiota Americas 2022 in Washington, D.C.”

George Paraskevakos, IPA’s Executive Director, said: “After a disruptive 2020, we have the IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas 2021 back in the calendar for June.

“IPA is excited with how this year’s event will be unlike anything else already in the calendar, with a superb extended content program, enhanced networking, and more immersive information hubs in the new platform. We’ve seen other probiotics and microbiome digital events pop up on the calendar over the past 12 months, but none of them can compete with the IPA World Congress + Probiota Americas 2021!”
