Post-Covid, consumers are increasingly engaging in beauty routines involving the use of cosmeceuticals. In a webinar slated for July 21, NutraIngredients-USA and CosmeticsDesign will dig into science, innovations, ingredients as well as product design and marketing of the beauty-from-within category.

Market research shows vitamins, minerals, proteins and oils to improve skin, hair health and overall appearance is on the rise. Whether it’s for acne, aging or hair loss, consumers are customizing their beauty-from-within routines with ingestible beauty products. According to a market report by InsightAce Analytic, the global beauty ingestible market size was valued at $3.29B in 2021, and it is expected to reach $8.30B in 2030 – forecasting a record CAGR of 11% from 2022 to 2030.

Sudipta oversees scientific and regulatory affairs as well as technical product development. She ensures the safety, compliance, efficacy, and regulatory approval of GNC products globally, while leading research and driving product innovation. With partnerships like Ulta Beauty inside Target and Sephora at Kohl’s, Veeramachaneni will discuss the category from a retail perspective.


Giorgio Dell’Aqcua​, Chair, New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists

After obtaining his PhD in Cell Biology in 1989, Giorgio worked in academia for 15 years as an investigator in applied medical research. Moving to the private sector in 2000, Dell’Acqua spent the past 21 years as an executive and cosmetic scientist in the personal care industry, directing R&D, Science, Product Development and Innovation. Giorgio Dell’Acqua has helped bring more than 200  active ingredients and finished products to market, has authored more than 80 publications in medicine and cosmetic science, holds multiple patents, and has been a presenter and a keynote speaker at more than 20 personal care events and conferences in the past four years. He is also an award-winning speaker on natural ingredients and a regular writer on sustainability.  As the Chief Science Officer at Nutrafol, Dell’Acqua will delve into the latest innovations in skin and hair care ingredients and products. 


Ravyn Cullor​, Editor, CosmeticsDesign-USA​

Joining the William Reed team in 2021, Ravyn is the editor of CosmeticsDesign US. The Central Californian has a background in news reporting and editing, with a focus on providing accurate, honest, fair, thoughtful, useful and ethical journalism across a variety of issues, as well as creating engaging and effective media platforms. Cullor will reveal what she’s hearing from brands, experts and industry leaders on the ingestible beauty category, as well as trends she sees coming down the pike at trade shows and in research papers.
