The ingredient is backed by several published studies for its potential in improving menopause symptoms like hot flashes.

NatREM is marketed as a drug-free alternative for sleeping aid containing the branded ingredient Suntheanine, a synthetic form of L-isomer-theanine found in tea leaves manufactured by Taiyo International.
Other ingredients in the supplement include valerian root powder, melatonin, chamomile, and pyridoxal-5-phosphate.
Signature Protein Crunch Bars by BodyBuilding.com
Expanding its private label offerings, BodyBuilding.com launched a line of protein crunch bars. With two flavors (Cookies & Cream and Chocolate Peanut Butter), the bars are gluten free and free of artificial flavors. Each bar has 20 g of protein, 20 g of carbs, 9 g of fat, 5 g of fiber, and just 5 g of sugar.
Gold Standard 100% Isolate by Optimum Nutrition
The latest addition to Optimum Nutrition’s Gold Standard line was designed for what the company calls are “macro-conscious athletes,” with 25 g of ultra-filtered whey protein isolates with one gram of carbohydrates and less than one gram of fat per serving.
To create this product, the protein undergoes a series of sophisticated filtration processes to isolate out excess fat, cholesterol, and sugar, before a portion is then hydrolyzed.
These caplets by Bluebonnet feature BioCell’s type II collagen.

From beef kidney to beef pancreas to beef cartilage, most of the products in this new line by Los Angeles-based Codeage delivers nutrients from parts of the cow that not many Americans are keen to eat, or, in the words of the company’s press release: “Codeage's new line of superfood helps the consumers get the nutritional benefits of superfood in an easy, convenient and affordable way.”
Each supplement container bears the claims ‘grass fed’ and ‘pasture raised,’ and each have different structure function claims. Beef Kidney was formulated to promote kidney and urinary tract thanks to its B12 and selenium content, while Beef Thymus offers support for the body’s immune system.
But it’s not just about nutrition from a cow (which the company says is sourced from Argentina). Two products in the line are plant-based: Smart Mushrooms and Forskolin Turmeric.
Targeted Choice Joint Support by Bluebonnet
These caplets by Bluebonnet feature BioCell’s type II collagen in addition to vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and chondroitin. In addition, it also has a blend of wildcrafted herbal extracts, such as turmeric root and white willow bark.
CBD Gummies with Turmeric & Spirulina by CBDfx
The FDA has communicated unequivocally that CBD is not a legal food ingredient, but product development with CBD rampantly continues anyway. One of the latest additions is by Southern California company CBDfx, called CBD Gummies with Turmeric & Spirulina. Each gummy contains 5mg of full-spectrum cannabidiol.
