From fiber to probiotics to enzymes, the $1 billion digestive health category is a dominant force in the dietary supplement industry. But what’s the latest research, or gaps in research, that can take the category to the next level?

Back in June during the IPA World Congress Probiota Americas conference in San Francisco, we surveyed attendees, presenters, and exhibitors alike about what they think is next in digestive health.

Responses ranged from increasing consumer awareness to the connectedness of the human digestive system to other parts of the body, to the use of novel ingredients.

But what do consumers understand by “digestive health”? What kind of claims are being made? As our knowledge and understanding of the gut microbiome expands, is that broadening the definition of “digestive health”? And what does the next generation of products look like?

Five different sessions will comprise the online event, entirely free, will take place Wednesday, November 15, 2017 starting from 11:30 AM EST to 2:30 PM EST. Check out the list of speakers and programs, and register your spot, by clicking HERE
