CRN opens registration, announces first speakers for annual conference

Registration is now open for the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s annual The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science and The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry.

The workshop will take place Wednesday, November 6, while the Conference runs from November 6 through Saturday, November 9, at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, CA.

The theme for the conference is “Destination: Vitality”, and it will celebrate the 25 years since the landmark enactment of DSHEA and look toward the next 25 years with thought leaders who will seek to prepare for future possibilities.

Preliminary featured speakers include:

Dr William Li: Physician, scientist and author of Eat to Beat Disease​, a New York Times​ and Amazon best-seller.

Jeff Kreisler: Best-selling author and financial columnist whose prized behavioral science insights help audiences better understand why people do the things they do—and what motivates them to change—shedding light on consumer use of supplements and compliance with wellness regimes.

Dr Anil Gupta and Haiyan Wang: Experts on global trends and business strategy, and co-authors of the new book, The Silk Road Rediscovered: How Indian and Chinese Companies Are Becoming Globally Stronger by Winning in Each Other’s Markets.​ Together, they will examine the challenges and opportunities China and India offer for both ingredient sources and new consumer markets.

CRN’s Day of Science, which will take place on Wednesday, November 6, will examine healthy aging, personalized nutrition and advances in nutrition research tools.
