Why are Moms and Babies Desperate for Vitamin K2?
Vitamin K plays important roles in children’s health, including support for coagulation, cardiovascular health, and bone mineralization. Unfortunately, research shows there is a high prevalence of vitamin K deficiency among infants, children, and mothers. Therefore, consider including Vitamin K2 as MK-7 in prenatal supplements (both for its value in fetal development, and to provide a source of vitamin K for nursing mothers), as well as in children’s multivitamin products, promoting bone and heart health for all stages of life.
