Tablet manufacturers have to constantly balance creating a tablet size that consumers will take with a product matrix that they will value. Glucosamine is not a naturally compressible ingredient and can only be tableted when properly granulated. Not all granules are the same, however and choosing the right one can have a significant impact on production costs as well as size and quality. There is no legitimate reason to sacrifice one for the other.
