The 2025 Product of the Year winners were recently revealed during the 8th Annual NutraIngredients-USA Awards.

The category recognized excellence in finished products in the beauty-from-within, botanical, microbiome modulation and sports nutrition categories. The ceremony, held in Chicago, featured entries judged on consumer demand, application/design, scientific merit, market success and innovation.

Described as “the industry’s most coveted awards,” the evening brought together leaders across ingredients, finished products, companies, individuals and initiatives within the dietary supplements industry.

And the winners are...

Beauty-from-Within: Xtressé Hair Gummies, Xtressé

A newcomer to the category, this year’s beauty-from-within award recognizes excellence in branded or own-label supplements, functional foods and beverages designed to support beauty from within.

The judges noted that Xtressé Hair Gummies is a well-crafted product with a smart blend of vitamins, minerals and botanicals—delivering both function and flavor. One judge described the gummies as “A fresh entry with a real X-factor.”

“Winning is important to us as it validates the impact of our Hair Growth Gummies in patients dealing with hair thinning and loss,” Xtressé told NutraIngredients. “It reinforces our commitment to quality and efficacy and strengthens consumer trust in both current and future products.”

Botanical: Quercetin 20x Plus, Xymogen

The Product of the Year in the Botanical category focuses on a sector rooted in ancient tradition, yet one that continues to evolve with exciting innovations and increased relevance for today’s clean- and natural-focused consumers.

The judges said they chose Quercetin 20x Plus because it fills a clear gap in natural allergy support with a highly bioavailable formula enhanced by synergistic ingredients. Backed by clinical research and strong early adoption, the judges agreed that it offers a compelling alternative to conventional options.

“We pour an incredible amount of time, passion and purpose into every product we create, so it’s a tremendous honor to have one of them recognized as Botanical Product of the Year,” Xymogen told NI.

“While our ultimate mission is to help people improve their health through thoughtful, evidence-based formulations, it’s deeply meaningful to have our work acknowledged by such a respected organization as NutraIngredients-USA and our colleagues in the nutraceutical industry.

“During the awards ceremony, someone remarked, ‘While there are winners in each category, everyone here is a winner’ — I couldn’t agree more. It was truly inspiring to spend time with other teams and companies who share our passion for delivering the highest-quality nutraceutical products to those who need them most. We’re honored to be part of such a dedicated, innovative community that is actively shaping the future of our industry."

“This winner impressed us with its simple, focused approach and use of a well-documented postbiotic,” the judges remarked, adding that the quick melt format and strong safety profile offer parents confidence and convenience in supporting their children’s immunity.

Renzo’s Vitamins said the recognition inspires the company to keep creating accessible, science-backed solutions for modern families.

“This recognition validates the science behind Roll Call Immunity, our single-ingredient formula featuring IMMUSE, a clinically studied postbiotic shown to activate plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs)—the leaders of the immune system," a company spokesperson told NI. “IMMUSE’s novel mechanism of action, supported by over 30 published studies including 15 human trials, makes it one of the most exciting innovations in immune health today.

“What makes this win even more meaningful is the fact that we delivered this next-generation science in our kid-approved, tasty Melty Tab format—no sugar, no water needed and no swallowing struggles. It’s the kind of format innovation that truly meets families where they are.”

Sports Nutrition: SuperBeets Sport, Humann
