New product launches on show at Vitafoods in Barcelona honed in on key trends across a variety of formats

Brands ran no risk of causing format fatigue by presenting an array of capsules, liquids, chews and powders, as they tapped into growing consumer trends of women’s health, immune health and beauty from within.

Miss Harmony

Belgium-based manufacturer Purasana presented Miss Harmony, a supplement designed to support cycle regularity, emotional well-being and skin clarity in women aged between 18 and 45.

The single-serve sticks feature Moodreal saffron extract for emotional balance and relaxation, shatavari for regular menstrual cycles and more comfortable periods and nettle extract to help reduce skin impurities. It also includes vitamins B6, B12 and folate to aid the normal function of red blood cells, the nervous system and psychological health.

Bactorinol Nasal Spray

The Italian manufacturer PharmExtracta S.p.A. showcased its Bactorinol Nasal Spray, designed to reduce and prevent bacterial biofilm formation. It is formulated using Winterized Lentisk Oil (WLO) extracted from Pistacia lentiscus berries and is clinically backed to alleviate symptoms associated with Chronic RhinoSinusitis (CRS). The product was originally introduced as nasal drops in 2021 and has now been launched in a spray format.

Ferrolip Forte

Italy-based U.G.A. Nutraceuticals launched its supplement Ferrolip Forte, designed to support iron intake with enhanced bioavailability and gastric tolerability. It contains vitamin C for enhanced iron absorption and energy support, and methylfolate to support normal blood formation and homocysteine metabolism as well as acting as a bioavailable alternative to folic acid. It also contains B12 which plays a key role in red blood cell production and the reduction of tiredness.

It is presented in a lemon-flavored orodispersible powder format and is positioned for women during preconception, pregnancy and breastfeeding, as well as for anyone with increased iron needs.

CollaGreen

The French manufacturer Naturacare presented a high-strength collagen precursor (vegan collagen) supplement designed to support skin, hair, nails, joints and overall vitality. CollaGreen has been formulated with NuLiv Science’s ingredient Astrion, a patented blend of Astragalus membranaceus and Centella asiatica, for increased collagen production and hyaluronic acid. It also contains vitamin C to support collagen synthesis and reduce oxidative stress.

Time Machine Collagen Chews

German manufacturer Nutriluv Health GmbH presented orange flavor Time Machine Collagen Chews, which contain2.5 g of Verisol collagen peptides for improved skin elasticity and reduced wrinkle appearance. The formula additionally contains vitamin C, vitamin E, niacin and vitamins B6 and B12, for skin health, energy metabolism and longevity.

Good Routine

Romanian wellness brand Good Routine showcased Cold-Care Jr. Chewable Tablets, designed to support children’s ENT (ear, nose, and throat) and immune health. Each tablet combines 1 billion CFU of Probi Defendum oral probiotic (BLIS K12) and vitamin C to promote oral wellness, immune defense, and upper respiratory tract protection. The supplement is strawberry-vanilla flavor, is aimed at children over three years, and is designed to be consumed between September and April, to line up with the school year starting.

Inolab Jeunesse NMN / SPN

Lithuanian company JCS Aconitum presented Inolab Jeunesse NMN / SPN, designed to support cellular health, energy and longevity in a product format that can deliver active ingredients in a structured schedule to enhance synergy, helping the body combat aging at the cellular level. It contains NMN to boost the body’s natural production of NAD+, a critical molecule for energy metabolism and DNA repair, and spermidine to complement these actions by promoting tissue regeneration, cell growth, and autophagy.
