Dr. Jenelle Kim, DACM, L.Ac. is not only the founder of JBK Wellness Labs, she's the lead formulator. Her products can be found everywhere from spas at the Ritz Carlton to retailers like Whole Foods.

Kim completed extensive training in East Asia under some of the most respected doctors in the field of Oriental Medicine and explained that she is the custodian of her family’s proprietary Bi Bong formulas.

“I take that ancient wisdom of these incredible ingredients and I bridge them with modern Western ingredients to make these new incredible integrative formulas,” explained Kim. “ It is my biggest role as far as I'm concerned to stay true to and preserve the ancient wisdom and knowledge that has existed for thousands of years, but then combine it in the most correct way possible. And the most important thing is to make it so that it can be understood by people.”

Kim added that her primary focus is to make sure Eastern medicine resonates with everyone, especially Western consumers. “Here's this thousand-year-old medicine that our United States really is just now touching the surface of—what a beautiful thing to be a part of.”
