Seppic Inc. is now exclusive US distributor for nutritional ingredients of Dutch company BioActor BV, which includes MicrobiomeX, Bonolive, Watts’up, Cordiart, and Actiful.

These new ingredients will expand Seppic’s reach in the US supplements sector, namely in the beauty, mood, memory, sports nutrition, bone, and gut health categories.

“We are very pleased with our partnership with Seppic as its sales teams on the East and West Coast help us to even better serve our existing customers and to rapidly introduce our clinically backed health ingredients to Seppic’s broad customer network,” said Kevin Wilson, Sales Manager at BioActor.

Ingredients in Bioactor’s portfolio include an olive polyphenol marketed for bone health called Bonolive. In 2015, Bioactor signed a deal with Nestlé’s food science division to develop products based on this proprietary ingredient.

Another ingredient in its portfolio is a citrus flavonoid developed to modulated the gut microbiome called MicrobiomeX.

“With this agreement, we continue to bring substantiated novelty to our customers and help them launch successful dietary supplements,” said Sebastien Merchet, Business Development Manager at Seppic Inc.

The company will be exhibiting at the Natural Products Expo West show in Anaheim next month at booth #4583, highlighting new clinical studies on Activ'Inside's Memophenol as well as Bioactor ingredient MicrobiomeX.
