Omega-3 producer KD Pharma will become the largest shareholder in Nutriceutical Holdings (NH), parent company of Physician Recommended Nutriceuticals (PRN) and Veterinarian Recommended Solutions (VRS).

The agreement also gives KD Pharma, the third largest omega-3 producer in the world, the option to acquire all of NH, a leading producer of omega-3 nutraceuticals via its PRN and VRS brands.

“We believe we have found the ideal partner in KD. They are committed to growing the NH companies by providing us with supply chain certainty and superior Omega-3 manufacturing technology that can help us excel within a competitive Omega-3 landscape,” said PRN CEO, Ken Krieg. “We are pleased to have a capital partner that shares our vision for growing PRN and VRS.”

Oscar Groet, KD Pharma CEO, added: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with a fast-growing company that shares our passion for product excellence.  The investment in NH gives KD growth opportunities in two rapidly growing markets for Omega 3, eye and animal health”
