Frost & Sullivan has named Nutraceutix as 2015 North American Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year for its commercial performance in the North American probiotics market.

F&S analyzed the probiotics market and chose Nutraceutix based on its high degree of innovation with products and technologies, and leadership in customer value and market penetration, said the company.

Christopher Shanahan, Frost & Sullivan Global Program Manager, Visionary Science, said: “Nutraceutix has 30 years of experience in the probiotics market and specializes in producing high-viability probiotics in bulk powder, advanced tablet and capsule forms.

“With more than three dozen strains in its probiotic library and a dozen strains in production at any given time, Nutraceutix allows companies to create the right products and delivery methods to reach their target consumer base.”

Nutraceutix is known for its exclusive trademarks including, LiveBac, BIO-tract, ProbioSphere and Viablend, among others.

“Each of Nutraceutix’s product enhancements is optimized to work with probiotics and resolve the issues inherent in shelf-life stability and optimal delivery to the consumer. These same delivery technologies can also be put to use for novel, controlled-delivery nutraceuticals that may not include probiotics at all,” added Shanahan. “Overall, Nutraceutix’s level of innovation and expertise has prompted customers to seek it out when formulating and developing multiple products within their brands.”

Frost & Sullivan also noted that Nutraceutix thrives as a behind-the-scenes, supportive partner to quality conscious brands. Unlike other contract manufacturers identified in the probiotics space, Nutraceutix does not produce its own privately labeled consumer products.

“We are pleased and honored to receive this recognition by the Frost & Sullivan research team,” said Tim Gamble, President and CEO of Nutraceutix. “It is strong validation of the effort we’ve made to improve the state-of-the-art in probiotic supplementation, as well as evidence that our dedication to contract manufacturing excellence, from innovation, to quality, to customer service, is being fully realized by us and our clients.”
