Texas-based network marketing firm Mannatech announced recently that the company received its 100th patent, the latest in Korea on its PhytoMatrix all natural multivitamin and mineral dietary supplement formulation.

Mannatech said the patents have been granted in major global markets for its glyconutritional technology pertaining to its Ambrotose, Ambrotose A, GI-ProBalance, and PhytoMatrix product formulations and in the field of biomarker assays.

Mannatech’s PhytoMatrix formulation has been on the market since 2006. The company says it is one of the few vitamin and mineral supplements available that contains minerals from hydroponically grown Indian Mustard plant and food-sourced vitamins and phytonutrients from fruits and vegetables. PhytoMatrix is gluten-free and suitable for vegetarian diets.

“Mannatech commits a great deal of resources, time and funding into the patent process in major global markets to ensure our unique technologies are recognized, validated and protected,” said CEO and chief science officer Dr Dr. Rob Sinnott.

Mannatech advertises that its products are produced in GMP compliant facilities that have been inspected and certified by NSF.  The comapny also touts its social mission, in which product sales are linked to donations of the company’s nutritional products to children at risk of malnutrition.
