Bestselling author to headline CRN conference & crisis management session added to program
Halperin will share his insights on the upcoming race for the White House, the 2012 Congressional elections and how any shifts in power may affect the dietary supplement industry over the next few years.
“We are delighted to welcome Mark Halperin back to The Conference,” said Steve Mister, president and CEO, CRN. “Mark Halperin is this generation’s Bob Woodward, a shrewd investigative journalist with an ability to capture the most important moments in our political era.”
The event will also feature an interactive breakout session on crisis management by Brian Ellis, executive vice president, CRT/tanaka, allowing participants to engage in a simulated, real-world crisis scenario that could put a company’s reputation, profitability and future into jeopardy.
“When your company is in a crisis situation, whether it’s a hurricane shutting down your plant or an FDA product recall, you need to move at lightning speed, and having a game plan in place ahead of time will make it easier for you to do that,” said Judy Blatman, senior vice president, communications, CRN. “This session will be a lot more fun than handling an actual crisis, but it will also get you thinking in a serious way.”
John Blair, senior vice president of NSA, LLC (JuicePlus+), conference chair and chair-elect of CRN, said: “Our program of speakers is as diverse and impressive as always, and the spectacular setting, the Montage, above the blue Pacific in Laguna Beach, makes this a must-attend event.”
Registration opened on June 18. The event will be held at Montage Laguna Beach, located on 30 spectacular, beachfront acres in the heart of Laguna Beach. For more information and to register, please click here: http://www.crnusa.org/2012events/
