Kalsec names South African distributor for ingredients portfolio
Michigan’s Kalsec Inc has names Orkila as the exclusive South African distributor for its full line of spice and herb extracts, natural colors and antioxidants for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
Founded in 2005, Orkila is the result of a Management Buy Out, concluded by the former management team of the companies of the Middle East and Africa zone of Rhodia’s (formerly Rhône-Poulenc) International Affairs Division, inheriting more than 100 hundred years of experience in the food ingredients industry.
“Orkila has vast experience, intimate market knowledge and an established sales operation across the South African food, personal care and nutraceutical industries,” said Paul Filby, Vice President, International Business, Kalsec. “We are looking forward to working with Orkila and introducing more of our products to this important marketplace.”
