APN Labs to offer private label nutraceuticals as demand for store brand grows
Wisconsin-based APN Laboratories is now offering private label nutraceutical formulation, sourcing and manufacture services, as the economy continues to drive consumers to switch to store brands.
According to the Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA), half of the respondents on a recent study claimed to have switched to store brands, with many consumers now perceiving private label brands to be as good as or better than national brands.
Responding to this trend, APN Labs has now opened its doors for the formulation, research and development, manufacturing, labeling and regulatory compliance for the nutraceutical industry.
According to the company, it can offer a range of nutritional supplement formulations and formats, including grinding and milling, blending, granulation, encapsulation, tableting, pouch and powder filling, sachets, blister packaging and bottling.
