Robinson Pharma gets USP approval for tablets

California-based Robinson Pharma has earned USP verification for four tablet formulations, as the company consolidates its quality program across the country.

Four joint health tablet formulations have received approval for the USP DSVP (Dietary Supplement Verification Program) and the company is now authorized to use the USP Verified Mark (DSVP) on the product labels.

“Earning the USP DSVP mark for four of our most important tablet formulations demonstrates that RPI is deeply committed to its quality program and that our quality infrastructure extends beyond softgels to all aspects of our operation,” said Tom Nguyen, Robinson’s founder.

“Having flagship products that comply with USP DSVP distributed within our product range is a strong statement about the depth and breadth of our quality program,” added Kenn Israel, VP of marketing.

The USP approvals related to glucosamine-based joint health formulations, including glucosamine HCL, glucosamine HCL with MSM, glucosamine with chondroitin, and glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, with vitamin D products meet the requirements of the Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP).
