BSN gets NSF GMP certification

Sports nutrition player BSN has received Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) from NSF International following a distribution facility audit, the company has announced.

BSN has also announced the completion of the GMP for Sport registration, which is reported to include semi-annual audits, verifying through quality and traceability review that no listed banned substances were present in the facility.

“We’re pleased to announce BSN’s registration with NSF International through compliance with its GMP requirements,”​ said James Tracy, director of marketing at BSN, states. “The quality and safety of BSN’s products has always been the highest priority for the company. As a leader in public health and safety standards, NSF’s registration provides additional credibility to the quality of BSN’s distribution practices.”

BSN was recently acquired by Glanbia for $144m.
