Natural Organics has introduced a new supplement to boost respiratory health and the immune system under its Nature's Plus brand this month.
Aller-7 Rx-Respiration contains a blend of seven herbal extracts, patented as Aller-7, and is available in health food stores throughout the US.
Nature's Plus is also introducing MEGA CLA 1200, a weight management product, and has extended the Source of Life multivitamin line with products designed for men and women.
Aller-7 Rx-Respiration, part of Nature's Plus' Advanced Therapeutics line, delivers "standardized levels of polyphenols, glycosides, piperine, gallic acid and gingerols," according to James Gibbons, Nature's Plus senior vice-president.
Aller-7 is the first brand name given to the herbal blend, said Nature's Plus. The product also contains a patented form of methionine-bound zinc and the antioxidant Georgian blueberry. The supplement will be part of the company's ongoing assay program, testing by a third-party laboratory, to ensure product quality.
MEGA CLA 1200 softgels contain Clarinol, produced by Loders Croklaan Lipid Nutrition, and are said to be the "most potent, highest quality nutritional supplement in its class".
CLA is thought to promote weight loss by increasing production of a specific enzyme in muscle tissue that acheives lean body mass.
Nature's Plus also makes the Animal Parade Children's vitamins, Spiru-tein Energy shakes and Herbal Actives line of standardized herbs.
