Follow Your Heart charts path to illusive vegan scramble
While vegan egg replacements for baked goods and batters have been around, a plant based egg that scrambles like a real one has been elusive until recently. This fall Follow Your Heart became the second company to launch a plant-based whole egg replacer that not only bakes but can create fluffy yellow scramble. The powder combines algal flour, algal protein, modified cellulose, cellulose, gellan gum, calcium lactate, carrageenan, nutritional yeast and black salt.
