FREE Webinar: Postbiotics - New tools for microbiome modulation

Postbiotics are establishing themselves as a strong weapon in the arsenal for modulating the microbiome. There is wholesale excitement about the science and potential health benefits for these preparations, and how these ingredients may offer more formulation opportunities than the sensitive probiotics.

The International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) recently published a consensus paper defining postbiotics as: “A preparation of inanimate microorganisms and/or their components that confers a health benefit on the host”.

While this definition has been challenged, it is seen by many as a good to place to start to help everyone – researchers, industry, consumers – have a baseline understanding of these ingredients.

But what does the science show? What brands are in the marketplace communicating about these ingredients? Where are the knowledge gaps? What do consumers understand about postbiotics and is there confusion around all the different -biotic ingredients in the marketplace?

An upcoming FREE webinar hosted by NutraIngredients-USA will answer these questions and more. We’ve convened a crack team of experts to explore all aspects of the emerging category and provide actionable insights and highlight key opportunities for the next decade.

The webinar will take place Thursday, December 8 at 11am Central (Chicago) time.
