New research published in the Journal on Orthopedics and Traumatology finds French maritime pine bark extract Pycnogenol®​ effective in curbing muscle loss related to aging and boosting muscle function in subjects with a common muscle loss condition known as sarcopenia.

Daily supplementation with Pycnogenol®​ demonstrated results after 8 weeks, including helping to stabilize muscle loss, greater muscular function and endurance, reduced oxidative stress and improved general fitness scores by 46 percent.
