‘Perfect alignment’: NutriScience Innovations acquires Xsto Solutions

NutriScience Innovations, LLC has expanded its portfolio of nutritional ingredients with the acquisition of Xsto Solutions, a supplier of nutraceutical and functional ingredients.

The transaction adds six new branded products to NutriScience’s portfolio of ingredients across a number of key health benefit categories, including PepZinGI (gut health), K2Quest (bone & cardiovascular health), BenfoPure (blood glucose control) and NiaXtend (cardiovascular & healthy lipid level support), among others.

Xsto, founded in 2005, is led by Francis Foley and Dan Murray. The acquisition was described as a “significant milestone” by NutriScience in a press release and positions the company for “continued success in an increasingly competitive marketplace.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Xsto aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver science-backed, effective nutritional solutions that consumers want. This acquisition not only strengthens our portfolio but also enhances our ability to serve our customers and supply partners in the industry.”

In a joint statement, Foley and Murray of Xsto Solutions, said that joining forces with NutriScience Innovation will allow the company to leverage its extensive resources and network, accelerating its ability to bring innovative solutions to a broader audience.

NutriScience Innovation’s existing portfolio includes over 100 nutritional and food ingredients, including a number of branded ingredients, such as BGF-Immune, ButyraGen, KeraGLO, NutriGP Mineral Glycerophosphates, SunActive IsoQ, Sunfiber, Sunphenon, Suntheanine and XanMax.
