The pandemic forced many into seclusion, but that time out pushed Diana Morgan, MS, CISSN, to spring into action. Last year the head of scientific & regulatory affairs for Care/of got the idea to mobilize the natural products industry by putting together events around the country.
The events immediately caught the attention of Loren Brown, director of business development – US regulatory and clinical development at NutraSource, which signed on as a sponsor after the first event.
Since NutraSource joined a number of other companies have recognized the value in sponsoring events, too. As in person happenings make a comeback, we can bet on events like Whats Up with Supps to continue to capture greater shares of marketing budgets.
During the latest What’s Up With Supps party on the rooftop of Nohu in Weehawken, NJ, Morgan said she’s wrapping up plans for the next event on Thursday, October 28th in Las Vegas, NV during the week of SupplySide West.
“All I’m saying is it will be anything but vanilla. It will be very over the top, very Vegas, and it’s going to be a sight to see,” said Morgan. “You should definitely bring your costume, bring anything Halloween-related, because we are going all out.”
