Informa Markets has announced it is formally cancelling its SupplySide East trade show.

The event had previously been postponed, but now the effort to reschedule the show has been abandoned.  It’s still very much up in the air when large gatherings can again take place as the coronavirus crisis unfolds. This has complicated efforts across the industry to reschedule numerous events that had been scheduled for the spring.

Informa had previously been forced to postpone the Natural Products Expo West trade show, which was scheduled to lake place in early March in Anaheim, CA.  That show has now been formally canceled as well.

Informa announced that the next SupplySide East show will now take place April 13-14, 2021 at Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ.

“While team SupplySide hopes that our entire country is well on the mend by late June, we believe the decision to cancel the 2020 event is the best course of action,” said Jon Benninger, Vice President and Market Leader for SupplySide. “Our focus now is on supporting the many businesses and people who make up this great industry as we navigate today’s challenges together.”
