The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has announced the addition of three new voting members and one associate member.

The new voting members include: Colorado-based Genesee Nutrition, a CBD health and wellness company that provides CBD-infused sports nutrition products to promote a healthy, active, and happy lifestyle; Hilma, a developer of natural, herbal-based remedies that will launch in January 2020; and Natures Crops International, a vertically integrated natural products ingredient business from “soil to oil” that manufactures a range of high value specialty oils and contracts specialty crops with international farmers to commercialize new and biodiverse plant species, and develop regenerative, traceable, sustainable and risk-mitigated supply chains.

The new associate member is Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, a full-service provider known for its nationally-ranked food litigation and regulatory practice. The firm counsels businesses on Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) determinations, New Dietary Ingredient (NDI) notifications, standards of identity, Proposition 65, and good manufacturing practices (GMPs) that comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
