Metagenics gets Non-GMO Project Verified for first nine products

Metagenics, Inc., a supplement company that sells products through the healthcare practitioner channel, received Non-GMO Project verification for its first nine products.

“We care about label transparency and remain committed to delivering nutritional formulas that suit a variety of lifestyles and preferences,” said Metagenics CEO Brent Eck.

“To eliminate guesswork, non-GMO status is always indicated on our labels. We chose to go a step further and get our products Non-GMO Project Verified because we believe this verification offers the highest transparency.”

Verified products in its portfolio include botanical supplements Adreset (cordyceps, Asian ginseng, and rhodiola rhizome), Andrographis Plus, Black Cohosh, CandiBactin-BR (with coptis root and rhizome, oregon grape, and Chinese licorice), Chasteberry Plus, and 500-C Methoxylflavone (citrus bioflavanoid).

The Bone Builder (including the Extra Strength and Prime varieties) supplements, primarily made out of minerals, also received verification.
