Twinlab returns to UNPA as Executive Member
“Nature’s Herbs, then a division of NaturPharma, which was acquired by Twinlab in 1989, was a founding member of the Utah Natural Products Alliance back in 1992,” said Loren Israelsen, UNPA president. “Recently, under the leadership of Twinlab’s CEO Naomi Whittel, the company expressed a strong desire to rejoin the ranks of UNPA and add its considerable influence to the growth and progress of the Utah supplement industry as well as the global natural products community. We are thrilled to have Naomi and her team back in the UNPA family.”
Twinlab Consolidated Holdings Inc. (TLCC) is the parent holding company of Twinlab Consolidation Corporation (TCC). The namesake brand, Twinlab, was established in 1968. TLCC, through TCC and its subsidiaries, also manufactures and sells other well-known category leaders, including Metabolife, Twinlab Fuel, Alvita, Trigosamine, and Reserveage.
TCC also owns NutraScience Labs, a contract manufacturer. TCC’s manufacturing facility, located in American Fork, Utah, is an NSF GMP- and NSF GMP for Sport-certified facility.
