The Natural Products Association has dismissed its lawsuit against seven of its current and former board members with prejudice after the parties resolved their differences.

NPA filed its first complaint against the 10 current and former board members on February 4, 2016 alleging they sought to “undermine the organization’s ability to do its work” by cooperating in a wrongful dismissal lawsuit filed by former CFO Brent Weickert. Motions to Dismiss this complaint were filed on March 3rd and 4th by nine of the defendants.

The association responded with an amended complaint on March 18, 2016. The amended complaint was countered by another motion to dismiss (dated April 4, 2016) for eight of the defendants, while a ninth defendant filed a separate motion to dismiss. NPA voluntarily dismissed its claims against the tenth defendant, Robert Craven from FoodState, on April 6, 2016.

NPA has now dismissed all claims against all remaining defendants and the case is over.

The terms of the settlement are confidential.
