Howard Sesso, ScD, from Harvard Medical School, will present new findings from the Physicians’ Health Study II at the The Workshop: CRN’s Day of Science.

Dr Sesso is perhaps best known to the dietary supplement industry for his clinical trial research on the multivitamin and chronic disease, notably PHS II. He will present new findings from this study on October 21 at The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage, in Palm Springs, CA.

The Workshop will also feature sessions on trends in supplement use, nutritional prevention of cognitive decline, assessing initiatives on botanical research, and interpreting the science on the safety of food ingredients, said CRN.

The Workshop concludes in the evening with a combined reception for attendees of that event and The Conference. The trade association recently announced that FDA’s Ted Elkin and FTC’s Mary Engle will present key regulatory insights at The Conference.
