NPA adds 127 new members since April
Membership growth across the trade associations continues, with the Natural Products Association the latest to publish impressive growth in its membership.

NPA announced earlier this week that, since the naming of Daniel Fabricant, PhD, as Executive Director and CEO in April, the association has added 127 new members.

“We have had a positive growth period since Dr. Fabricant started because of the recognition he’s garnered in the industry, his unbeatable expertise and his personal reputation of integrity,” said Roxanne Green, President of NPA. “He hit the floor running on his first day at NPA and has not – and will not – slow down.”

NPA Supply Council Chair Jane Drinkwalter added: “Many manufacturers and supply chain members of the natural products industry are joining NPA to share in Dr. Fabricant’s passion, experience and wisdom.”

Fabricant returned to NPA after more than three years as the director of the Division of Dietary Supplement Programs at the FDA. Prior to that, he served NPA as vice president of Global Government and Scientific Affairs. Since his return, the association has also hired Corey Hilmas, MD, PhD, as senior VP of scientific and regulatory affairs, Aimee Nichols as Director of Government Affairs, Melinda Price as Communications Coordinator, and promoted NPA’s Lauren Cohen to Vice President of Public Relations and Communications.
