Apple peel: Waste not, want not
Last year Leahy Orchards launched a new dried apple peal supplement – something it said held potential in joint health due to its polyphenol content.
The firm said it had conducted a human clinical trial that measured the effect of AppleActiv powder on joint health, range of motion measures, comfort and inflammation management support. Review and publication of this research is pending.
