The month-long promotion on Facebook, “Why You Want to Be Well”, worked by donating $5 for each response personal health and wellness questions from participants. The promotion was the latest in a series of similar social media and social networking initiatives to raise money for the charity.
“Each of these three events successfully engaged people who care about their health and want to be part of a community that focuses on wellness, all while helping generate donations for a wonderful charity,” said Judy Blatman, senior vice president, communications, Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), which oversees the “Life…supplemented” campaign through its educational affiliate, the CRN Foundation.
“We challenged our friends and followers to get involved in helping us raise money and visibility for Vitamin Angels and they answered the call with enthusiasm.”
