New chairman for CRN

Trade association the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) has
elected Chuck Brice, senior vice president of sales and business
development at Kemin, as its new chairman.

Brice, who will hold the office through December 2006, succeeds Byron Johnson, industry relations director of the Access Business Group/Nutrilite, who will continue to serve on the executive committee as immediate past chair.

Brice was first elected as an officer of the CRN Board as treasurer in 2000. Most recently he served as the Association's chair-elect (2002-2004).

CRN has also appointed a number of new positions on its board, including chair-elect Mike Doyle from BASF, treasurer Marjorie Fine of Shaklee Corporation and secretary Mark LeDoux of Natural Alternatives International.

Annette Dickinson will remain CRN president until her planned retirement in the spring.
