Trade associations, health food retailers and suppliers are staging a rally to educate members of Congress about current dietary supplement legislation. They are calling industry members to show support by attending the rally.
The Rally on Capitol Hill will take place on October 21, 2003 in Washington, D.C. It is designed to protect access to vitamins, minerals, herbs and other dietary supplements, currently under threat by new legislation.
The event includes a 'How-to-Lobby' workshop with political insiders coaching attendees on making the most of one-on-one meetings with members of Congress. This will be followed by prearranged appointments with legislators on Capitol Hill.
