FiberGel set for Asian expansion

Fiber Gel Technologies, which holds the rights to functional food ingredient Z-Trim, has set up a partnership to expand distribution of its product in the Asian marketplace.
The agreement with Hyacinth Resources is expected to lead to manufacturing rights for Z-Trim production and new distribution opportunities in Asia.
"Hyacinth is in the unique position of having access to substantial prime business commerce relationships in Indonesia," said Gregory J. Halpern, Fiber Gel's CEO. "This largely untapped market paves the way for Z-Trim manufacturing opportunities in Indonesia and distribution to the Asian Market."
Z-Trim is a patented fiber which lowers calories when added to foods.
FiberGel is a wholly owned subsidiary of Circle Group Holdings.
