Calcium heart plaques

I'm a Specialist Nutrition Consultant. 3 weeks prior to a total hip replacement in May 2011, I had an angiogram which showed a near-perfect heart vascularization. Within 48 hours of the hip replacement I had a heart arrest, considered to be caused by a released calcium plaque, and a stent was put in. I now no longer take calcium supplementation.
