Saporiti Group eyes ‘competitive advantage’ as distributor of GanedenBC30 in South America

A new distribution partnership between Ganeden and Grupo Saporiti, S.A. will increase availability of the GanedenBC30 probiotic ingredient in select South American markets, the companies have announced.

Saporiti will be the distributor of GanedenBC30 (Bacillus coagulans ​GBI-30, 6086) in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Venezuela.

“The South American population continues to be increasingly concerned with health and wellness and are demanding functional foods and beverages to help support a healthy lifestyle,”​ said Mike Bush, Sr VP of Ganeden Biotech. “Our new relationship with Saporiti will provide us the opportunity to introduce the unique capabilities of GanedenBC30to the South American market; while leveraging Saporiti’s 80+ years of education and experience.”

Esteban Saporiti, commercial director of Grupo Saporiti, added: “The Saporiti Group believes there is a competitive advantage to being a distributor of the probiotic GanedenBC30that can be formulated into a variety of innovative food and beverage applications where other probiotics are unable to be used.”
