Chr Hansen notes that probiotics are the fastest growing segment of the dietary supplements industry with a growing body of research linking probiotics to children’s gut health, diabetic and immunity benefits.
“The effects seen after supplementing the diet with probiotics are best documented within gastrointestinal infection, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, and allergies,” said Anders Paerregaard, leading pediatrician at the University Clinic of Pediatrics, H:S Hvidovre Hospital, Denmark.
