With Sen. Durbin on the warpath over cGMPs and yet more DMAA controversy, the supplements trade hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons in July. However, there were also exciting commercial developments in algae, chia, coca leaf extracts and olive oil plus some thought-provoking research on vitamin C, wild blueberries and fish oil.
