New studies emerged this year for the company’s joint health and blood sugar management ingredients, to name a few.

Throughout 2016 a number of clinical studies have been published on ingredients developed by Sabinsa Corporation, and many of those will be highlighted in the company’s booth, # Y135, at SupplySide West, October 6 – 7, 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. The company will also be providing details on multiple health claims approved by Health Canada this year.

While studies on Sabinsa’s products have been published throughout the company’s 28-year history, the number has increased exponentially, the company said. Some of the products with new clinical studies include studies from Japan on Boswellin and NiLitis for supporting healthy joints, and human clinical studies on Sabinsa’s DigeZyme and Sabeet. New science and licensing information will also be offered on pTeroSol, Sabinsa’s water-soluble Pterocarpus marsupium for blood sugar management.

Other news the company will be sharing are three approved Canadian Health Claims: Two for its curcumin ingredients, Curcumin C3 Complex (“helps support healthy serum triglyceride levels”) and Curcumin C3 Reduct (“provides antioxidants”), as well as its probiotic LactoSpore Balance (“helps relieve abdominal pain associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome”).

Sabinsa will also be giving away copies of the latest curcumin book Curry Powder to Clinical Significance, by NutriScience Publishers, LLC 1st Edition signed by Sabinsa founder Dr. Muhammed Majeed. This hard-cover book captures the robust body of science on Curcumin in the clinical setting, and goes on to cover the history of Sabinsa’s Curcumin C3 Complex.

This year, to showcase the company’s shelf-stable probiotic LactoSpore, which is featured in a number of functional food products, the company will be giving out new Chocolate Chip Probiotic Cookies.

Shaheen Majeed, Sabinsa Marketing Director, will moderate the AHPA Botanical Congress session Supply Chain Management Stage 2: Appropriate Ingredient GMPs Under FSMA on Saturday at 3 PM. Other speakers include Gary Swanson, Herbalife and Ashish R. Talati, Esq., Amin Talati & Upadhye.
