Save the date: NutraIngredients Awards set to return to Geneva in 2016
The 2015 awards and industry celebration dinner, held in Geneva alongside the Vitafoods Europe show last month, was a huge success for all who entered and attended – and next year’s event promises to be even bigger and better.
The ‘must attend’ industry dinner and awards ceremony, hosted by NutraIngredients editors’ Shane Starling and Nathan Gray, is scheduled for May 11th 2016 at the Starling Hotel in Geneva - following Day 2 of Vitafoods Europe.
NutraIngredients will release further details of the new and expanded awards categories, and information on how to apply for the awards, over the summer months.
“We had 129 entries for the first edition of NutraIngredients Awards and we will be further expanding the number of award categories for 2016,” commented Graham Twyford, Head of Food – EMEA / APAC at William Reed Business Media.
“Rewarding innovation and excellence in ingredients, finished products and research remains the key focus.”
Industry-wide celebration
While the awards ceremony itself will play an important role in the evenings proceedings, Twyford was also keen to reiterate the fact that the dinner serves as a great opportunity to celebrate the wider industry and network with friends and clients after a successful day at the Vitafoods show.
“We also want to build on one of the event’s other successes from the first edition – ensuring that the industry has a great night out,” said Twyford. “The feedback we received from the 200+ awards dinner attendees this year was overwhelmingly positive and with the number of attendees likely to rise we’re determined to deliver again on that front in 2016.”
