Vitamin manufacturer Tishcon Corp has donated almost one million bottles of multi-vitamins to children of low-income families, eight years after joining the non-profit group Nourish America.

The vitamins, which are distributed to children in 42 states, are reportedly promoting energy levels, better sleep, immunity and concentration.

“Malnourished children, in general, have difficulty focusing in school, controlling their emotions, and competing in academics and sports. They suffer from low self-esteem and are often absent from school with seasonal illnesses,” said Tishcon.

“Daily multivitamins with minerals help these children by providing them with the essential micronutrients their bodies need to function more effectively and to develop into healthier, happier children.”
