The ingredient – termed XP-828L – is a patent-pending formula that is said to consist of growth factors, especially TGF-B2.

These, said the company, help maintain healthy cytokines levels and support inflammatory process. Cytokines are proteins that are used for signaling, predominantly, but not exclusively process, and block pro-inflammation cytokine receptors.

The agreement between the two firms gives PLT non-exclusive distribution of the product under a yearly commitment. Other ingredients from Advitech’s portfolio, as well as “several new innovations” could be added into the agreement upon further discussions, said the companies.
